How NHS suppliers can support BOB.health, a free-to-NHS staff supportive online tool to tackle COVID-19 (updated)

Thursday, April 30, 2020 |
Following our first unrestricted grant from an NHS supplier to support our focus on COVID-19, we have updated our blog post from 23 March 2020. Thank you for considering supporting BOB.health...

If you work for an NHS supplier, such as a pharmaceutical company, we need your help. On 15 April, we launched a free-to-NHS supportive online tool that helps NHS staff create, learn from, and share the experience of adapting to evolving local service change in response to COVID-19. If you’ve been wondering what you and your company could do in this national crisis, then this is an opportunity to help.
There is a critical need for the tool we've launched. NHS staff are in the midst of changing the way they work like never before. From our survey, 96% want to learn how others are responding to current changes in other localities. AND despite mounting professional and personal pressures, an astonishing 62% have told us they would commit an hour to write up their story to help others learn. Our supportive online tool makes this easy for them.
BOB.health is here to support NHS staff, who are putting patients’ lives first like never before. From nurses and doctors, through to allied health professionals and administrators, are all getting the NHS through its biggest ever challenge. We were due to launch in June, and in fact, we were just about to lock in a new investment round. With the economic impact of this virus, we needed to pivot and adapt to bring BOB.health to market three months early. We are looking for awesome companies to support BOB to serve NHS staff in two different ways:
  1. You could consider awarding us an unrestricted grant - our first pharma company did this on Friday 27 March, and we are genuinely grateful and humbled
  2. You could pay an advanced booking fee to secure a future BOB impact story with us
Once the NHS returns to a new normal, you’ll be able to profile and focus customer conversation about the optimal use of your innovation in our unique new channel. Market Access teams could also drive awareness of, and involvement in, your portfolio of Joint Working or other great initiatives. BOB has always been about profiling *how* change happens at the local level. This is needed more than ever before in the face of COVID-19. BOB helps an NHS staff member capture *how* they did it, others can learn, and they can share this experience widely for more to see. If you’d like to learn more about how you could help us support the NHS in this time of need, then sign up here for a 25-minute BOB.health NHS supplier briefing (last updated on 30 April). You can also reach Neil, co-founder of BOB.health, on 07738 206 153 or neil.crump@bob.health. Thank you for considering this and take good care of yourselves.
